Andrew Maples

Andrew

Andrew is currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. He has experience working with diverse groups of people of all ages in ministry and nonprofit settings. He is seeking to bring that experience to a clinical setting. He is particularly interested in helping others who wrestle with anxiety, depression, anger, and grief. His goal in each session is to cultivate a safe and collaborative environment that invites reflection and conversation.

Andrew has a deep interest in cognitive-behavioral methods integrated with existential and philosophical insights. His aim is to help individuals define and align their lives with values, meaning, and purpose by establishing thoughtful, practical goals. He believes it is a privilege to walk with clients in their therapeutic journey and help them take meaningful steps toward lasting change.

Treatment Approach

Andrew takes a holistic treatment approach that primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral, rational emotive, existential, and narrative therapies. He recognizes and honors the individuality of each client and seeks to appropriately tailor each intervention to best meet client needs.
