Before starting Refresh Nutrition I worked in various clinical hospital settings for close to a decade. I worked, learned, and experienced the impact of chronic and acute illnesses on our bodies. I’ve worked with diabetes, kidney disease, cancer, and pediatric and intensive care management. After working in the hospital, I realized that there is a need for support outside of the hospital which led me to open Refresh Nutrition therapy practice. I formed a group of Registered Dietitians to spread the joy of nutrition, balanced eating, and wellness to Southern California.
As a wife and mom to three little ones, my view of nutrition is functional, fun, and feasible for a busy lifestyle. This spans, not just to myself but to my family and my clients.
I earned my Master of Science (MS) degree from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). I also completed my Dietetic Internship through CSUN which led me to earn my beloved title, Master of Science Registered Dietitian (MS, RD).
