She especially enjoys supporting clients age 12 and up as they navigate life transitions, identity development, and relationship concerns. Her passion is more specifically working with adolescents and young adults facing challenges like life adjustments, depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, and other stress-related disorders.
Treatment Approach
Esther is grounded in a narrative therapy approach, helping clients separate the problem from themselves to enhance personal agency and direction over their circumstances. As a lover and proponent of creative writing and other artistic expressions, she often utilizes creative interventions within the therapeutic process. She may also draw on other therapeutic orientations, such as family systems therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques, based on the individualized need of each client.
