Peyton Wagner, NCC, A-LPC/MHSP

Peyton Wagner

Peyton is a graduate clinician working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Her goal is to make sure her clients feel seen and help them grow into the person they want to be. She works primarily with adults (18+) with a variety of issues. Peyton has had experience working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder in an inpatient setting. She is passionate about helping women, caregivers, and people who are neurodivergent achieve their goals using empathy and creativity.

Treatment Approach: Peyton believes in the person-centered approach, which means that she believes the therapeutic relationship itself can be healing. However, she integrates other theoretical interventions tailored to the client’s needs based on where they’re at developmentally and factoring in unique circumstances to ensure the client is continuing to grow and reach their goals. So Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Radically-Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy may be some of the modalities used.
