Rachel is an A-LPC/MHSP working towards her full licensure in the state of Tennessee, while continuing her PhD in Counseling and Supervision. Rachel works primarily with couples and individuals (age 16 and above) from a variety of circumstances. She is open to working with clients with anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship conflict, and trauma. Throughout her career, Rachel has focused on empowering clients with tools to increase confidence, develop practical communication skills, and incorporate self-care to enhance their everyday lives.
Treatment Approach
Within the session, Rachel meets clients with warmth, empathy, and adaptability to meet clients where they are. Rachel may utilize a variety of modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, during sessions. She works from a person-centered and systems-oriented approach to develop an individualistic therapeutic environment that meets the needs of every individual. Rachel aims to support clients in looking inward through reflection and guiding tools, creating practical solutions for their unique lives and individual healing journeys. With authenticity, warmth, and perhaps even a touch of humor, change and growth can happen!
