Treatment Approach
Within the session, Rachel meets clients with warmth, empathy, and adaptability to meet clients where they are. Rachel may utilize a variety of modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, during sessions. She works from a person-centered and systems-oriented approach to develop an individualistic therapeutic environment that meets the needs of every individual. Rachel aims to support clients in looking inward through reflection and guiding tools, creating practical solutions for their unique lives and individual healing journeys. With authenticity, warmth, and perhaps even a touch of humor, change and growth can happen!
Riley takes a therapeutic approach that highlights a client-centered and strengths-based perspective. She may also integrate interventions that are trauma-informed and creative in nature (e.g. play therapy) as developmentally appropriate. In doing so, she aims to provide individualized care that is able to meet the unique needs of each client. Overall she strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood, and approaches counseling with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s lived experience.
